This is an official
2009 BOSTON BREAKERS
game jersey from the defunct
WOMEN'S PROFESSIONAL SOCCER
(2009-2011) league.
The jersey was issued to
MARY-FRANCES MONROE
early in the 2009 season. Monroe, who had also played for the previous version of the Boston Breakers in the Women's United Soccer Association in 2003, was sparingly used in 2009 and cut early in the season.  As a result, she never removed the PUMA tags off this jersey and it was NOT used in game play.  However, it is also NOT a replica jersey produced for retail sale.  PUMA only offered a limited set of retail replica jerseys featuring the biggest stars of the league (Kristine Lilly, Marta, Hope Solo) and not for lesser-known role players.
I worked in the Breakers front office from start-up in 2007 until Women's Professional Soccer disbanded following the 2011 season and wound up with a handful of left over jerseys and other memorabilia when the league disbanded.  See my other listings, where I am selling the remaining WPS-era jerseys in my collection as well.
