china?  Look no more - here she is!  This is a stunning tall ( 25 1/2 inch) antique china doll with a fancy hairdo.  For reference see page 94 of Behold Chinas by Seeley and/or Page 113 of Chinas by Mona Borger.  This china has a newer very firm body.  Her arms and lags/boots are antique.  Her shoulder plate is perfect.  There is no flaws in her porcelain parts as examined by a black light.  We entered her in competition and she won a 2nd place ribbon at the UFDC 45th Annual Convention in Atlanta, GA in 1994.  I just love the look of her face.  Notice the long face.  The facial painting is wonderful.  There are three tiny dots at the right side of her lips.  There are two very tiny hair paint rubs on the back and side of her head.  Notice the hair strokes on the side of her face - terrific.  She must have been of royalty to have a maid that would make up her hair.  Please check out the pictures of her hairdo.  He boots have some paint wear however they are hand painted and have molded buttons on the sides - nice touch.  This is a wonderful example.  From our home to yours.
