Beautiful Antique German Bun China, c. 1840th

Description

German antique, c. 1840th, china head doll with braided bun stands 11" tall. The shoulder head is slightly pink-tinted, blue eyes, cheeks and chin are gently mauve/pink toned. Her hair is swept back into a braided bun. No hairlines, damage or repair on the shoulder head, few pepper spots from the baking/making process.
She is on antique Milliner's Model Doll Body ( Leather body with wooden arms and legs) dated back to 1830 or even earlier. These kind of bodies were made originally for paper-mache shoulderheads but were often used for their later sisters like this girl.  She wears antique underwear and antique red and whiter checkered cotton dress decorated with burgundy trim.
