For auction is a game/match worn 2009 DC United MLS soccer jersey. Jersey was worn by Chris Pontius #13. This is his rookie jersey. Jersey is made by adidas - Formotion . It is size Extra Large (XL). Adidas tagging screened in collar.  Team sponsor (Volkswagen) and adidas logo heat-pressed onto shirt. Team logo is sewn on and championship stars are embroidered onto shirt above team logo. MLS logo shield and American flage are sewn on right and left sleeves. Pontius' name and number is heat-pressed on back. "Tradition" embroidered under back collar. Jersey shows good use. There are several snags on front body and right sleeve. Pontius played with DCU from 2009-2015. He was the 7th pick in the MLS draft in 2009. Retired in 2019 after playing with the LA Galaxy. He is a UC Santa Barbara product and won the NCAA  Div. 1 soccer championship in 2008. Made his USMNT debut in 2017. Winning bidder adds .00 for shipping.
