    Rare Vintage Brooks Brothers Purple Velvet Equestrian Riding Helmet Mint Condition
    This custom made vintage Brooks Brothers riding helmet in purple velvet is in mint condition. There are no size tags inside the helmet. Interior measurement is 21 1/2 in. which indicates a 6 3/4 UK or 6 7/8 US hat size. The purple velvet is in pristine condition, so much so it appears black to indoor lighting but takes on the purple hue in daylight. The leather lining (sweat band) shows no sign of wear or use. The liner tip (name plate) and quilted lining show similar. An unparalleled piece for any equestrian collection.
